Honey-Roasted Carrots Recipe

Nothing compares to roasting carrots! When you roast them in the oven, the dry heat pulls the water from the carrot. Causing the left-behind sugars to caramelize. Yum!


8 medium carrots 1 tbs unsalted butter, melted 1/2 tbsp raw honey 1 tsp fresh thyme Salt to taste


Step 1

Slice each carrot once lengthwise and coat both sides with melted butter. Sprinkle with 3 twists of a salt mill.

Step 2

Roast the carrots for 20 to 25 minutes at 425 F. Turn once halfway through cooking.

Step 3

When done roasting, drizzle honey over the carrots and scatter the fresh thyme over top.
