Creamy Mushroom Sauce

You’ll love this creamy mushroom sauce on everything from steak to chicken to pork. Flavorful mushrooms are gently simmered in heavy cream with onion and garlic. Delicious!

Ingredients

Step 1

Make a roux by melting 2 tbs butter on low heat and mixing it with 2 tbs of flour. Set aside.

Step 2

Stir fry the onion in butter until soft. Add heavy cream, 1/2 cup water and minced garlic. Stir well to combine. Next add the mushrooms and simmer about 15 minutes until done.

Step 3

While still simmering, stir in the roux until your cream sauce reaches a desired consistency.
