Roasted Honeynut Squash

2 - 4 honeynut squash 1 tbsp melted butter 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp rubbed sage

Slice each squash in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. Scoop out the seeds and pulp.

Pour a little of the melted butter on each squash half. Use your fingers to rub it in. Sprinkle with garlic powder and sage.

Place the squash flesh side up on a large baking sheet. Roast in the oven at 425 degrees F.

It will take about 40 minutes for 3 squash. Adjust the cooking time up or down if you’re roasting more or less squash.
