Stovetop Beef Stew Recipe (Gluten-Free)

Chuck roast Carrots, rutabaga, potatoes, yellow onion Dry red wine Gluten-free beef broth Thyme Garlic Bay leaves Salt and pepper


Cut the roast into 1-inch pieces. Brown on both sides in a heavy bottom pot.

Add red wine, beef broth, bay leaves, crushed garlic and thyme to the pot. Simmer with the lid on for 3 hours.

Add the carrots, rutabaga and onion. Simmer 15 minutes. Add the potatoes and simmer until done. Remove the bay leaves, thyme and garlic to serve.
