How to Make Blueberry Compote

2 cups Fresh Blueberries 1 tablespoon of Sugar (cane sugar, maple syrup or white sugar)

Step 1

Measure fresh blueberries into a wire colander and gently rinse under cold water.

Step 2

Place the blueberries in a medium pot and add the sugar. Bring the blueberries to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

Step 3

Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool on the stovetop then transfer to a glass jar and refridgerate.
